Our Mission
Roots TMS provides cutting edge treatment to help people improve their well-being and regain control of their lives.
Our History
For more than 8 years, Roots has been a leading provider of behavioral and mental health care. Since opening our co-occurring outpatient clinic in Long Beach, we have helped over 1,000 patients and their family members improve their lives through our trauma-informed care model. In the years since, we have expanded the services we provide to include treatment of primary mental health and chronic pain, and added population-specific programs for the LGBTQ community, first responders and Native Americans. Our most recent expansion includes the addition of Roots TMS, a clinic that brings revolutionary TMS therapy to safely and non-invasively treat conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder, and Anxiety in patients who have not found relief from medication and psychotherapy alone.
Our Approach
We understand that the mind, body, spirit and social connectedness cannot be separated, which is why we treat them all together. Our “Whole-Person Approach” has guided us in developing programs and treatments that are both effective and sustainable. We remain at the cutting edge of science and research, and are committed to evolving our program as new treatment approaches are developed. Integrating these practices with psychotherapy, mindfulness and body-centered therapies has allowed our patients to regain control of their lives and thrive once again.

Camrey Dicrosta
TMS Care Coordinator
Camrey started working with TMS in Connecticut and New York with a love for helping people and now continues her journey in sunny California.
Camrey entered the mental health field from a personal and professional passion for making a real difference in people's lives. She sees TMS as a true hope for people in need of treatment because she herself got TMS 9 years ago when she was a teenager and it changed her life.
Since then, she has dedicated herself to helping others achieve the same success. Knowing first hand what it’s like to go through this treatment, she will be here to support you every step of the way. Aside from being a TMS technician, Camrey has helped create TMS awareness through events and community outreach in the North East. When she is not working Camrey can be found immersed in her second passion at the dance studio.
Lola Van Doren

After witnessing the recovery experience of those closest to her, Lola began her journey helping others with substance use disorders in 2020.
